I am the first one to shrug phone / compact cameras off as toys. I dislike the Canon G10's image quality, and think the Canon 350D sucks too. Let me state this very clearly - the iPhone 4's camera is SEVERELY limited in what it can do. I would never take it on any serious photography trip. But... when lighting conditions are perfect, here is what you can expect at 100% and ISO 80, 1/250 sec and f/2.8. The sharpness and per pixel image quality rivals the Canon G10. Pretty impressive.
When you are about to land on Oliver Tambo International airport in Johannesburg from the 16.5 hour flight from Atlanta, Georgia, this is what the Delta in flight entertainment system shows you. Nice hey? Shows you all our most prestigious cities most prominently.
What is the definition of a lie? Here is one take on it from the Oxford American dictionary:
lie 2 |lʌɪ|
noun
an intentionally false statement
Lets think about that. The key words are intentional and false. That means you are lying if you deliberately tell a false statement, full knowing it is untrue. The converse of this is that it is NOT considered lying of you tell a false statement about something you believe at the time to be true. An example would clarify this:
Sometimes I can be a real schmuck. Some people believe I always am one, but in this case it was a 30 minute lapse in neuron activity. I had a JBoss Seam xhtml JSF page like this:
However it ALWAYS returned null for noteManagement.restoreNotesData which is a byte[] property on the noteManagement seam component. The reason? Idiot me forgot to wrap that s:fileUpload in a separate form element declared as a multipart form:
One of the nice things in my life is taking a walk in my forest. This morning was especially awesome, just feel the atmosphere.
