90g Reef Tank - Tank Progression

Title Date Of Photo Notes
Tank building 2 Mar '10 Aragonite live sand with half filled tank.  Water is extremely cloudy as I chose not to wash the live sand in the (futile) hope of retaining some stray bacteria.
Tank building 3 Mar '10 Tank filled with water, circulation on.  Very cloudy from live sand dust.
Full tank shot 12 Mar '10 Live rock, tank clear.  No animals yet.  Only one Tunze pump currently drives the circulation.  As of yet I have no algae growth.
Full tank shot 12 Mar '10 Full tank shot.
Full tank shot 21 Mar '10 First live stock in.  Good algae growth.  The Foxface is keeping all the macro algae that started to grow on the live rock at bay.
Full tank shot 2 Apr '10 Some new corals added.  No new fish yet.  I have added another Tunze powerhead for better flow in the tank.  Also, I changed the aquascaping a bit by moving some rock on the right hand side backwards.  My algae growth is still good - but it is mostly diatom nets and limited green algea growth.  The Foxface has eaten all my algae on the live rock.  He is also keeping the one patch where I had Bryopsis growing in check.
Full tank shot 1 May '10 This is the first shot after my coral started bleaching.  As you can see the colt coral and Clove polyps are all bleached.  Rest of the tank is doing fine.  Added some Xenia and other corals.
Full tank shot 13 Jun '10 Xenia is really taking off.  Got a hammer coral as well, which is doing good.  Minimal algae in the tank.
Full tank shot 27 Jun '10 Xenia is going crazy.  The colt coral is starting to get their colour back - a very slow and tedious process.
