Tank Mixing salt 29 Jun '07 Since this tank is so small I added 45L of RO water and heated it to about 25C. Once the temperature was reached I added enough salt to reach a specific gravity of 1.023.
Tank Salt dissolved 29 Jun '07 Salt dissolved in a couple of hours.
Tank Substrate added 29 Jun '07 About 8kg of crused coral sand was added.
Tank Water clear 30 Jun '07 It took the whole night for the cloudy water to settle.
Tank Aquascaping with LR 1 Jul '07 Next day once the saltwater was matured a bit more I added some liverock and the first corals.
Tank Fish and corals added 9 Jul '07 Several days later I added some more hardy corals, the two shrimpfish and the pipefish.
