Water Parameters |
I tested my water parameters and it seems the Caulerpa and RowaPhos is working. I have not done another water change since 12 Jul '07, yet my P went from 0.11 mg/L down to 0.045 mg/L in 7 days' time. |

Algae Growth |
The other piece of Caulerpa that did not die grew considerably. It is healthy and has grown several new leaves. |

RowaPhos Added |
I added a very small bag of RowaPhos to the Eheim HOB filter to help export Phosphates. Will monitor the water levels closely. Currently it tests at 0.11mg/L P again - as it raised from the last 50% water change. |

Fish Died |
Once of the two Shrimpfish died. My guess is it is because it never took to Cyclop-Eeze as the other one did, as that is the only apparent difference between the two fish. |

Emergency Water Change |
To help lower the phosphates, I performed a 50% water change with 24 hour old water matched exactly to the same temperature and salinity. Phosphates tested at 0.045 mg/L P after the water change. |

Algae Died |
This morning I saw one of the pieces of Caulerpa died. This polluted the water to be a fuzzy brownish colour. I tested for phosphates since the micro algae just took over, and boy was I surprised to see P is at 0.11 mg/L. Since the tank is so small, I am going to do two 50% water changes during the next week to help lower it. |

Fish Died
|
One of my Banded Pipefish died. It was the weaker one - which never ate since I purchased it. |
