Life is short...

Today I felt first hand how short life actually is. Treasure every moment. If you get angry at someone you love, stop for a couple of seconds - think, and try to show love - not anger. If you are too busy to spend time with them - make time. If someone is really important to you, do not take them for granted, or have the misconception that life is static.

The sad news is - even if you follow all these suggestions, it won't make any difference to how you feel. Life is unfair.

Waldo, I am really sorry to hear about the tragic death of your father! I wish I could say something that will make you feel better, but all I can do is to pray for you and your family.

To Waldo and Karin,
You are right life is short, but it is also glorious, we are all here for a very special reason...

... if you remember the lessons learned of those who enrich your life than you do them justice...

... feel sorrow, sadness, do not push that away, as that is why we are indeed human...

... watch more sunsets, marvel at the flowers blooming as does you daughter every day...

... through her learn about who you are... remember she chose you and Karin as her parents and that is an honour... treasure her and celebrate her at being the best you can be...

Our thoughts are with you and Karin

Dear Waldo & Karin
For the past 24 hours I've been trying to think what I can do, what I can say. But anything I come up with is so insipit, and sound so stupid, and will do nothing about the reality and pain you are faced with. Know that you are contstantly in my thoughts, and that we are around the corner, should you:
- need to just get out of the house OR
- have a cup of coffee OR
- go somewhere to talk OR
- go somewhere not to talk OR
- go somewhere to talk everything but OR
- whatever!

We are here for you, and we are so sorry that you have to go through this difficult time.

Love
Louis & Anneke
